Patio Canopy

The customer wanted a large temporary patio canopy with minimal visual obstruction to provide outdoor shading protection for special events and seasonal use.

This canopy was designed with the least amount of visual obstruction and with no permanent anchor attachments to the exterior masonry of the home.

To minimize the number of upright posts, a slight crown was designed into the horizontal frame truss members. The entire frame was fabricated from 2.5" aluminum square tubing and erected with minimal assembly points and custom anchors that were clamped to the balcony.
