Waikato Museum T-Rex

Our project was to build a 5-meter high T-Rex dinosaur to profile a museum exhibition.

Building a T-Rex is easier said than done, but when our client asked us to design a huge dinosaur to attract attention, we did exactly that.

Together with the innovation and creativity of our designer, we developed a clay model to allow the client to settle on the feel that they wanted from the design. Once that was resolved we made our pattern and produced a blank unit. We then engaged a graphic artist to bring the unit to life and he did a fantastic job.

Standing five meters high, this creature makes an impact. Our client wanted to profile an exhibition and this beast did the job.
