Supra Cinch

Custom Covers, Salt Lake City, Utah, United States

The purpose of this project was to provide a travel cover for a customer who did not want snaps installed on his boat, yet wanted the ability to cover the boat without the cover damaging the boat.

This cover evolved to work remarkably well. Key details include well-placed side tie-down hooks on the end instead of wrapping around the trailer so the webbing is held away from the boat. A turn in the webbing to cause a slight twist in the strap prevents vibration at high speeds. A distinctive fastening system between the tower legs allows only two places where the belly band detaches to go around the tower legs. This strap is concealed in a waterproof zippered pocket to prevent leakage. It has boots on the tower legs to prevent water leakage and air from filling up the cover on the highway.

This cover is vastly different from commercially available trailer covers because the craftsmanship is superior, heavyweight thread is used, and every seam is double sewn. The webbing is a heavyweight polyester for added strength, UV resistance and longevity.
