Corridors for Judicatura Offices at Cancun
This public initiative included building a new center of the Federal Judicature offices in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico, with a system of corridors at the outside covered by textile membranes.
The corridor systems connect the parking with the rest of the building by the modular repetition of high and low points generating an undulating rhythm. In the parts where they converge or change direction, they generate lobby squares that are covered by four inverted conical umbrellas of a higher height to give the spatial suitable hierarchy, joining to the group of buildings as an organic system with its own life.
Carpas Y Lonas El Carrousel achieved special recognition from the architects for the general project and were invited for some new projects they are designing.
